Bloomfield Sisters Fundraise For Animal Shelter With Lemonade Stand
Some enterprising youngsters raised money for a good cause with some sweet treats in Bloomfield.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Three enterprising youngsters recently raised money for a good cause with some sweet treats in Bloomfield.
Aubrey, 6, a kindergartener at Demarest School, along with her sisters Emery, 3, and Callie, 1, worked long hours earlier this month selling homemade lemonade and home-baked chocolate chip cookies.
Patrons were happy to donate to a good cause to get a cool drink on a hot day. Meanwhile, the cookies apparently hit the spot as well – they were sold out by noon.

The children's grandparents, who live on Highview Terrace, said they plan to take the children in person to donate the funds to the Bloomfield Animal Shelter at 61 Bukowski Place, so they can see the animals who will benefit from their hard work and generous donation.
