Bloomfield Store Burglarized; Cash, Lottery Tickets Stolen: PD
A thief made off with about $300 in cash and lottery tickets during a burglary at a Bloomfield store, authorities said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A thief made off with about $300 in cash and lottery tickets during a burglary at a Bloomfield store last week, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to Original Tropical Food Store on Dodd Street on Feb. 8 after receiving a report of a burglary.
Officers at the scene found a shattered window, an open lottery machine and a damaged cash register drawer.

A store surveillance video showed a male suspect force his way into the store. He was wearing a light-colored hood, dark-colored gloves and dark sneakers, police said.
An investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
