Bloomfield SUV Owner Finds All 4 Tires Missing, Cops Say

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A Bloomfield vehicle owner got a nasty surprise when they discovered that their new car was the target of a tire theft earlier this month, police say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, someone shattered the rear, passenger’s side door in order to gain entry into a 2018 Toyota 4Runner that was parked at the corner of Watsessing and Arlington avenues on Oct. 9.

Police said that all four tires – including the rims – were stolen from the vehicle.

The estimated value of the stolen parts came to $2,000, authorities said.
