In Bloomfield: Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway Returns For 2023
An annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway event for in-need residents is returning to Bloomfield this year.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — An annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway event for in-need residents is returning to Bloomfield for 2023.
The giveaway will include turkeys and other holiday-related food items. It will take place on Sunday, Nov. 19 in the back parking lot of the municipal building at 1 Municipal Plaza from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
Registration for the event is required with the Human Service Division, which is registering residents in their offices, by phone at (973) 680-4017, or online here.

“Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude and unity, and our turkey giveaway is our gesture of appreciation to our residents,” Bloomfield Mayor Michael Venezia said, adding that more than 700 families are expected to get meals.
