Bloomfield Town Employee Earns ‘Clerk Of Year’ Award In New Jersey

Bloomfield Township Clerk Louise Palagano has received a well-deserved award for her service to the municipality, Mayor Ted Gamble said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield’s town clerk was recently presented with the 2024 “Municipal Clerk of the Year Award” from the Municipal Clerks' Association of New Jersey.

Bloomfield Township Clerk Louise Palagano received the honor at a ceremony in Atlantic City.

The selection of the annual “Municipal Clerk of the Year” is made by the executive board of the Municipal Clerks' Association of New Jersey, and is announced at a meeting held during their annual Education Conference each spring.

Bloomfield Mayor Ted Gamble congratulated Palagano on the personal milestone, saying it is a “a fitting recognition” to someone who has years of dedicated service to the Township of Bloomfield.

“It was well worth the trip to Atlantic City to see her surprise as they read her accomplished resume while announcing this well-deserved award,” Gamble said.
