Bloomfield Traffic Stop Leads To 4 Arrests
Police arrested a carload of Essex County residents after making a DWI traffic stop on Bloomfield Avenue.

Bloomfield, NJ – Bloomfield police arrested a carload of Essex County residents last week after making a DWI traffic stop on Bloomfield Avenue, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, an officer on patrol allegedly saw a red Mitsubishi traveling on Bloomfield Avenue with the head lights out around 12:35 a.m. on Feb. 24.
After conducting a motor vehicle stop, police arrested the driver and three passengers for a range of alleged offenses:

- Milton Brown, 20, of Belleville – driving while intoxicated and under the influence of CDS
- Francito Hall, 19, of Orange - possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia
- Gerard Steel, 23, of Bloomfield - outstanding warrants generated from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department
- Devine Crute, 21, of Newark - outstanding warrants from Newark
