Bloomfield Water Main Break On Liberty Street Repaired: Authorities

The Bloomfield Public Works and Parks says that water is safe to drink.

Bloomfield, NJ - The Bloomfield Public Works and Parks announced on Friday morning that a water main break on Liberty Street is repaired and water is “safe to drink.”

According to posts on the agency’s Facebook page, the break took place in the vicinity of Liberty Street near Bloomfield Avenue on Thursday, and was repaired around 10 p.m.

Some in the area may have experienced low water pressure or brown water for a few hours, the Bloomfield Public Works and Parks stated.

“Please know that the water is safe to drink,” the agency emphasized in its Friday morning message.
