BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield is postponing the release of its latest round of estimated tax bills, opting instead to wait for the certified tax rate, township officials announced Tuesday.

Bloomfield officials said they anticipate receiving the certified rate later this week, thus “ensuring accurate billing for residents.”

As a result, tax bills will be mailed no later than July 24. However, if the grace period needs to be extended, that date will be communicated on residents’ tax bills, as well as on the township website, officials said.
