Bloomfield Woman Charged With Assault After Alleged Parking Space Argument: Police

The Bloomfield woman allegedly struck another female in the face with a metal object, police said.

Bloomfield, NJ – Police arrested a Bloomfield woman last week for allegedly attacking another female after an argument about a parking space, authorities stated.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the alleged attack took place around 10 a.m. on Dec. 26, after Wanda Rodriguez, 46, and an unidentified female reportedly got into an argument about a parking space.

During the alleged argument, Rodriguez struck the other female in the face with a metal object, police said.

Authorities charged Rodriguez with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Her bail was set at $30,000 with a 10 percent option. She was released after posting bail.
