Bloomfield Woman Cut During Argument With Husband: Police
A Bloomfield woman told police that she was cut on the arm during a fight with her husband, authorities said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A Bloomfield woman told police that she was cut on the arm during an argument with her husband last week in the kitchen of their home, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, police responded to a Grove Street home on July 2 after receiving a report about a stabbing on the premises. On arrival, officers spoke with a female resident, who said that she was injured during an argument with her husband.
The woman told officers that the physical altercation led into the kitchen, and when her husband grabbed a knife, she tried to gain control of it and ended up getting cut on the arm in the process.

Her husband then fled the scene on foot, police said.
Bloomfield police notified the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, which approved charges of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose and Aggravated Assault.

Police are attempting to locate the woman’s husband, who is entered as a wanted person, authorities said.
