Bloomfield Woman Dies In I-95 Crash After 'American Idol' Audition

A New Jersey woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash Sunday evening on I-95 North in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania State Police announced Natasha Bellott, 20, of Bloomfield was killed in the crash, which happened just south of the Yardley-Newtown Road exit around 7 p.m.

Several young adults from New Jersey remain in local hospitals to be treated for their injuries, Pennsylvania State Police said. According to multiple reports, the group was traveling back from “American Idol” auditions in Philadelphia.

Leslie McCoy, 19, of Monclair is hospitalized at St. Mary Medical Center with a head injury and fractured ribs.

Carl Delpolito, 24, of Bloomfield and Jacob Gorski, 18, of East Orange are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Capital Health Hospital in Trenton. A 16-year-old female passenger, whose name was not released, was also being treated at Capital Health for non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.

A 17-year-old from Belleville was driving the car, but her name has not been released.

Witnesses told police the SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed when it flipped and rolled over, 6ABC reported. Three people were ejected in the crash, which remains under investigation.
