Bloomfield ‘Women To Watch’ Earn Praise From Congresswoman
Bloomfield commemorated Women's History Month by honoring more than a dozen local "Women To Watch."
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield’s latest group of “Women to Watch” continue to pick up accolades from the community, including U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill.
In tribute to Women's History Month, Bloomfield recently sought nominations for local "Women to Watch."
More than a dozen residents and municipal employees were honored during a recent event – the third year the town council’s female members have led such an effort.

This year’s honorees got a big thumbs-up from Sherrill, who represents the state’s 11th District.
“For Women’s History Month, I was proud to honor the 19 Bloomfield ‘Women to Watch’ with congressional certificates, recognizing each of their work creating an inclusive environment, inspiring others, and promoting growth in our community,” Sherrill wrote.
