Bloomfield ‘Youth Voter Registration Day’ Targets Local Students
Bloomfield Civil Rights Commission: "We invite all eligible students to register so that they may have their voices heard."

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield Civil Rights Commission and the Bloomfield Public Library will be co-hosting a Youth Voter Registration Day on Wednesday, May 16.
“We invite all eligible students to register on May 16 so that they may vote in future elections and have their voices heard,” a joint news release stated.
The Youth Voter Registration Day event will take place on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in the Bloomfield Public Library courtyard, at 90 Broad Street, Bloomfield, NJ 07003 from 2 to 4 p.m. For more information, contact 973-566-6200 or visit www.bplnj.org.

To register to vote you must:
- Be at least 17 years old and turn 18 before the Nov. election
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Be a resident of Essex County, NJ
- Have a driver’s license with photo, student ID with photo or the last 4 digits of your social security number, when you register
