BREAKING: Two N.J. Schools - One In Essex - Evacuated After Threats, Odor

Two separate incidents forced the evacuation of two New Jersey high schools Thursday morning.

Two separate incidents forced the evacuation of two New Jersey high schools Thursday morning.

The schools were evacuated because of a bomb threat, and because of an odor in a school cafeteria.

East Orange High School was evacuated around 10:15 a.m. because of a bomb threat, police confirmed to CBS2. The police and bomb squad were responding to the incident.

The school was given the all-clear after about an hour.

At 10 a.m., Linden High School was evacuated because of an unknown odor in the cafetera, police told CBS2 and WUNF. No injuries have been reported.
