Bronze Marker Stolen From Veteran’s Grave In Bloomfield: Police
Someone stole a marker from a military veteran's grave in Bloomfield, authorities said. It was valued at $2,000.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Someone stole a bronze marker from a military veteran’s grave earlier this month in Bloomfield, authorities said Thursday.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the niece of a veteran interred at the Mount Olivet Cemetery on Cottage Place reported the theft on June 23.
She told police that the grave marker was taken between June 6 and June 17. It was valued at $2,000, authorities said.
