Brookdale Park: March of Dimes To Host 'Bark For Babies' Dog Walk Fundraiser In Essex County

The March of Dimes will host its first dog walk fundraiser, "Bark for Babies," on Sunday at Brookdale Park in Essex County.

The March of Dimes will host its first annual dog walk, “Bark for Babies,” on
Sunday, Sept. 27 at Brookdale Park in Essex County.

The festivities for dogs, families and dog-lovers will include local vendors, entertainment, contests and prizes. Registration opens at 11 a.m. and the walk begins at noon.

Admission is $25 ($30 day-of) for adults, $10 for children under 12, and $5 for each dog. Preregistration is available at www.marchofdimes.org/newjersey.

According to a release, funds will benefit the March of Dimes, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

The walk is sponsored by Pharachem Laboratories.
