Burglar Takes $160K In Watches, Cash From Bloomfield Home: Police
A Bloomfield resident was away from home for several days. When he returned, he saw signs of "forced entry" to his front door, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A Bloomfield resident reported that about $160,000 in expensive watches and cash were stolen during a home burglary last week, authorities said Tuesday.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following statement about the burglary, which took place on Nov. 14:
“Officers responded to the area of Baldwin Place on report of a residential burglary. A resident was away for five days and when he returned home he observed visible signs of forced entry to his front door. After entering into the house, he noticed five watches missing from his bedroom valued at $140,000. There was also $20,000 in cash missing.”
The incident is under investigation, Bloomfield police said.
