Burglaries In Bloomfield: 2 Cars Stolen, Storage Unit Break-In
Two burglaries were recently reported in Bloomfield, authorities say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Two burglaries were reported in Bloomfield last week, authorities say.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about each incident:
March 16 – Officers responded to Weaver Avenue after getting a report about a burglary. A resident noticed the front window of the residence was forcefully opened. The resident then noticed the key fobs and both of his vehicles were missing. The vehicles, a black 2022 Mercedes Benz GLS and a black 2025 Range Rover were entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.

March 19 – Officers responded to 211 Grove Street (iStorage) after getting a report about a burglary. According to the manager, a storage unit that became property of the storage facility due to non-payment was broken into. The lock was cut an all the contents of the unit were missing. This incident is under investigation.
