Burglaries Reported At Home, Trailer In Bloomfield
A pair of burglaries took place in Bloomfield: one at an outdoor trailer on Arlington Avenue, and another at a home on Llewellyn Avenue.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A pair of burglaries recently took place in Bloomfield, one at an outdoor trailer on Arlington Avenue, and another at a home on Llewellyn Avenue, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the following incidents were reported in the township:
Aug. 16 – Officers responded to 8 Arlington Avenue (D&D Market) on a report of a burglary into a trailer. The owner of the trailer reports that at 9:36 p.m. on Aug. 15, an unknown suspect cut the lock to his outdoor trailer then made entry. Surveillance footage shows a white van, possibly a Ford, pull up alongside the trailer and a male exits the van and used a grinder to cut the lock off the trailer. The owner reports that nothing is missing at the time of report. This incident is under investigation.

Aug. 17 – Officers responded to the area of Llewellyn Avenue on report of a burglary. The homeowner reported that unknown suspect(s) entered the residence through a basement window. The glass window was removed allowing the suspect(s) to gain access into the basement area. A MacBook, Apple iPhone, mountain bike, golf clubs and tools were all taken, totaling $3,100 dollars. There are no suspect(s) at this time. Investigation will continue.
