Burglars Steal Copper Lines From Bloomfield Home Air Conditioner: PD
A pair of burglars stole the copper lines from an air conditioning condenser at a Bloomfield home, authorities say.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A pair of burglars stole the copper lines from an air conditioning condenser at a Bloomfield home last week, authorities say.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following statement about the burglary, which took place on May 24:
“Officers responded to the 500-block of Beardsley Avenue on report of a burglary. According to a resident, two males were attempting to remove an air conditioning condenser from inside a residence. Officers arrived and observed the central air unit, however, the copper lines had been removed from the unit.”
The theft is under investigation, police said Thursday.
