Burglary At Bloomfield Laundromat, Cash Register Stolen: Police
A total of $2,000 in cash was taken during the burglary, Bloomfield police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A burglar stole the cash register from a laundromat in Bloomfield earlier this week, authorities say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to 159 Grove Street (Blue Leaf Laundromat) after getting a report about a burglary on Sunday.
The manager told officers that an employee closed and locked the store at 10:30 p.m. When the manager returned the following morning at 7 a.m., she noticed the power was off and the cash register was missing. There was also cash missing from the office, police said.
