The Black Fairy Godmother Foundation hosts its 11th Annual Purple Diamond Awards Gala on Saturday, October 24 at The Brookside Banquets in Bloomfield. The evening is hosted by Vanessa Freeman of PIX 11 News and features a keynote from Shannon Watts, author, activist and founder emerita of Moms Demand Action, with a performance by Shanice. Proceeds support women leaving domestic violence situations as they secure housing and rebuild for their families.
