Car Hits 2 Juveniles In Bloomfield: Reports
A motor vehicle struck two juveniles on Glenwood Avenue in Bloomfield, authorities say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A motor vehicle struck two juveniles on Glenwood Avenue in Bloomfield on Wednesday, authorities say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, charges are pending against the driver, who allegedly failed to stop for a red traffic signal before the vehicle struck the pair of juveniles in the crosswalk at Glenwood and Maolis avenues, TAP Into reported.
“Glenwood Avenue is built for speed, just like Bloomfield Avenue, Watsessing Avenue and Grove Street,” said Lark Lo, director of local transportation safety advocacy group VELO Bloomfield, in a statement after the crash.

“Glenwood Avenue needs a physical change to make it safer,” Lo added.
