Car Stolen Outside Fast Food Restaurant In Bloomfield: Police
Two vehicles were stolen in Bloomfield last week and an attempted theft was also reported, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Two vehicles were stolen in Bloomfield last week and an attempted theft was also reported, police said Wednesday.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to the Wendy’s restaurant at 147 Bloomfield Avenue after getting a report about a stolen car.
The victim told officers that she left her 2008 Honda CRV running in a parking space. After exiting the restaurant, she noticed it was missing. An investigation into the theft continues, authorities said.

Bloomfield police released the following details about two other recent incidents that were reported in the township:
Nov. 4 – Officers responded to Lincoln Street after getting a report about an attempted motor vehicle theft. The victim said their 2022 Kia was parked on Nov. 3. The next day, the victim saw the rear window had been shattered and the steering column and ignition had been damaged.

Nov. 5 – Officers responded to Llewellyn Avenue and Glenwood Avenue after getting a report about a motor vehicle theft. The victim said she parked her 2024 Honda Accord on Nov. 4. The next day, she noticed the vehicle was missing.
