Car Stolen Outside Pizza Hut In Bloomfield, Police Say

The car was left unlocked and running, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A car was stolen outside of a local Pizza Hut in Bloomfield last week, authorities say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the theft took place Feb. 8 on the 200-block of Bloomfield Avenue.

A customer told officers that he went inside the restaurant to pick up food, and when he returned, his vehicle was missing. The car – a black 2018 BMW X3 – was left unlocked and running, police said.

Police are investigating the theft, authorities said.
