Cat Ducks Tricky Situation In Bloomfield With Help Of Firefighter
A cat got stuck on a floatation device that was in place for ducks. It used a Tupperware container for shelter until it was rescued.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — You’ve heard of firefighters rescuing cats from trees before. But recently, an emergency responder in Bloomfield had to wade through a pond to come to the aid of a trapped kitty.
Here’s what happened, authorities said:
“Group 4 Engine 2 was dispatched to the Halcyon Park pond for a cat that was on a floatation device that was in place for ducks. The cat was using a Tupperware container that made its way into the pond for shelter. [Firefighter] Michael Elias entered the pond and safely removed the cat from danger.”
