“Officers responded to Morley Lane on report of a catalytic converter theft. A resident observed a white Mercedes SUV travel west on Morley Lane at a high rate of speed then stopped short next to a blue 2008 Toyota Prius. The resident then observed the suspect slide under the parked vehicle with an electric saw and begin to cut the catalytic converter. The suspect then got back into a white Mercedes SUV and proceeded to drive west on Morley Lane, then south on Broad Street. This incident is under investigation.”
