Copper Cable Stolen From PSEG Substation In Bloomfield: Police
Someone cut a barbed wire fence and stole about $1,000 worth of copper cable from a PSE&G substation in Bloomfield, authorities said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Someone cut a barbed wire fence and stole about $1,000 worth of copper cable from a PSE&G substation in Bloomfield, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, an officer was dispatched to Bloomfield Avenue on a report of a theft on Feb. 14.
The complainant said 100 feet of copper cable valued at $1,000 was taken from the substation. A barb wire fence located in the back of the yard was cut, which is believed to be the point of entry, police said.
