Diners Robbed While Eating Outside Bloomfield Restaurant: Police
A pair of customers dining outside at a local restaurant were robbed at gunpoint, Bloomfield police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A pair of customers dining outside at a local restaurant were robbed at gunpoint last week, Bloomfield police said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to the Town Pub on Broad Street on July 23 after getting a report about an armed robbery.
Police said the diners were eating outside on the sidewalk, when a man with a silver handgun approached them. The man demanded that they hand over their belongings, and the victims gave them their phones, wallets and keys.

The armed man then got into a silver Chevy Malibu driven by another man, and the vehicle fled the scene, traveling on Pitt Street towards Glen Ridge, police said.
Bloomfield police continue to investigate the robbery, authorities said.
