Doc Reports Possible Burglary At Bloomfield Medical Practice: PD
The head doctor of a medical practice in Bloomfield observed $22,000 in cash missing, police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A doctor recently reported a potential burglary at a medical practice in Bloomfield, authorities said Wednesday.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following statement about the incident, which took place on Nov. 9:
“Officers responded to 350 Bloomfield Avenue on report of a burglary. The head doctor of the medical practice observed $22,000 in cash missing from the desk drawer of the office manager. A doorway leading to the office had visible damage, and pry marks near the locking mechanism.”
The incident is under investigation, Bloomfield police said.
