Domino’s Pizza Driver Carjacked On Delivery In Bloomfield: Police
The driver reported that someone pressed a hard object believed to be a handgun into his back, then stole his car, Bloomfield police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A pizza delivery driver was carjacked in Bloomfield last week, police said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to Ella Street on Sept. 25 after receiving a report about a carjacking.
The victim, a driver for Domino’s Pizza, said he was delivering an order when an unknown person pressed a hard object believed to be a handgun into his back.

The suspect demanded that the driver surrender his vehicle. The person then fled the scene on Ella Street in the stolen car, heading east on Bloomfield Avenue, police said.
Police recovered the vehicle on Sept. 26 at 1:20 a.m. in Newark. No additional information was immediately available.
