Dunkin' Donuts in Bloomfield Robbed

Just in from the Bloomfield Police Department:

“On February 28, 2015 at 7:41 am on the 500 block of Broad Street, a Dunkin Donuts was robbed at gunpoint of approximately $500 in cash. The suspect, described as a 6 foot tall white male, 20-30 years old, wearing a gray sweatshirt, black gloves, black ski mask, black sweatpants, and sun glasses over prescription glasses, approached the counter person and demanded money. The suspect then raised his sweatshirt and displayed what appeared to be a black handgun tucked into his waist band. After the clerk handed over money to the suspect the suspect fled the scene on foot through the back parking lot towards Bay Avenue.

A search of the area was conducted with negative results and the crime is currently being investigated by The Bloomfield Police Department Detective Bureau.
