Emergency Gas Line Repair In Bloomfield Affects Traffic: Police
A portion of West Passaic Avenue in Bloomfield was closed to traffic on March 26 due to an "emergency gas line repair," authorities said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A portion of West Passaic Avenue in Bloomfield was closed to traffic on Tuesday, March 26 due to an “emergency gas line repair,” authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the gas repair closed the westbound section of West Passaic Avenue to all traffic between Garrabrant Avenue and Lindbergh Boulevard.
“The closure will be in effect until approximately noon,” police stated. “Expect delays and plan an alternate route. PSE&G are on scene with police officers directing traffic.”
