Details: Featuring a live DJ, balloon artists and face painting. Suggested donation upon entry.

Place: Yogi Berra Stadium (on the Montclair State University campus)

Details: Admission fee is $3 per person or $10 for a family and free for kids ages 5 and under. No outside food, water or other drinks may be brought into the stadium.

CALDWELLS

Date/Time: Saturday, July 4 (gates open at 7 p.m., fireworks begin at dusk)

Place: James Caldwell High School, Bonnel Field, 265 Westville Ave., West Caldwell

Details: With entertainment by DJ Danny Duca. Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for kids 12 and under. Rain date is Sunday, July 5.

Date/Time: Saturday, July 4 (fireworks start at dusk)

Place: Nutley Park Oval

Details: Featuring a carnival, games, food and music in front of Town Hall and the Public Safety Building until 8 p.m.

BLOOMFIELD

Date/Time: Saturday, July 4 (Opening ceremonies start at 7:30 p.m., Fireworks start at 9:20 p.m.)

Place: Foley Field

Details: Featuring games, food and music. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for kids ages 6 to 18, and free for senior citizens and kids 5 and under. Limited parking, including handicapped parking will be allowed on JFK Drive.

NEWARK

Date/Time: Saturday, July 4 (fireworks take place after 9 p.m.)

Place: Over the Passaic River (fireworks will be visible from the event area, but the best view will be from nearby Riverbank Park)

MAPLEWOOD

Date/Time: Saturday, July 4, around 9 p.m.

Place: On lawn in athletic field south of Oakview Ave.

Details: Featuring daylong live music, food, games and entertainment. Parental discretion advised for small children and pets. Rain date is July 5. Tags may be purchased at gates. No parking on nearby streets or Memorial Park. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in Maplewood parks.

WEST ORANGE

Place: West Orange High School

Details: Featuring live music at 7 p.m. No bottles, food, chairs, gum or smoking. Admission is free.
