Be on the lookout for zombie tweens in Glen Ridge this weekend.

There are certain tell-tale signs of these zombie middle-schoolers:

  • They will be dressed for prom.
  • They will be dead and roaming the town.
  • They will be headed to Ridgewood Avenue School to star in Zombie Prom.

Zombie Prom is a satire/spoof of the 50s genre and teenage love & angst (a la “rebel without a cause”) with a science fiction horror twist. The show stars a small, but talented cast of 7th and 8th graders from Ridgewood Avenue Middle School. Also featured is the band comprised of both Glen Ridge middle school and high school students.
