The next meeting of the Bloomfield Public Library Book Club will be on Tuesday, July 5th at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room. The topic of discussion will be Outliers: the Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell.
In this entertaining work, the author of Blink and The Tipping Point asks, “what makes high-achievers different?” High achievement, for everyone from Bill Gates to The Beatles, is not just the result of ability or intelligence. Opportunity and “demographic luck” can be just as crucial. Whether one agrees or disagrees with Gladwell’s theory, this book should lead to a lively discussion.
Admission is free and all are welcome to attend. The Library is barrier-free.
