The next meeting of the Bloomfield Public Library Book Club will be on Tuesday, September 13 at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room. The topic of discussion will be The Loved One by Evelyn Waugh.
This 1948 novel takes on the American funeral industry in a brilliantly satirical portrait of excess and eccentricity. The film version starred Rod Steiger, Robert Morse, and Jonathan Winters.
Admission is free and all are welcome to attend. The Library is barrier-free.
