The Bloomfield Public Library is celebrating National Library Week with an Essay/Picture Contest. Create your own story depicting what the Bloomfield Public Library means to you. Here are some guidelines and categories:

Artwork - 8 1/2 by 14 or smaller;
Essays - 100--500 words;

Poetry- less than 50 lines.
Categories:
Pre-school
K-2
Grades 3-6
Teens (grades 7-12)
Adults (age 18-up)
Family or Group
One entry per person. All entries must include: name, phone number, and category entered. Children's and teens' entries must include age and grade. Artwork must include a caption (adults may help children with theirs). Please affix the entry form to the back of your entry (forms available in the library).
Entries must be submitted during National Library Week, between April 10-16, 2011. The deadline is Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 5pm. Prizes for each category are gift certificates to Holsten's Brookdale Confectionary. Gift certificates were donated by Bloomfield Rotary Club, with our thanks. Entries will be judged on creativity, originality and relevance to the Bloomfield Public Library.
