Free Workshop: Starting and Managing a Small Business

     The Bloomfield Public Library is pleased to present a free workshop for people who are interested in Starting and Managing a Small Business on September 13, 2011 at 6:30pm. 

     For those starting a new business or those already in business looking for ways to increase sales and profits.  Score will cover: what makes a company and it’s product(s) successful; financial planning (cost analysis, cash flow, comprehensive Income Statement); marketing (advertising, promotion, e-marketing, selling techniques); flow and essential contact of a high impact Business Plan. 

     SCORE, the Service Corps of Retired Executives, is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth, and success of small business nationwide. SCORE volunteers provide free, confidential face-to-face and email business counseling to  America’s entrepreneurs.

     SCORE will return on October 18 with a seminar on Financing Your Small Business and again on November 2 with information on Marketing Your Small Business.  Once again on December 14 to discuss Social Media and the Internet   These programs begin at 6:30pm.
