On July 21, 2011 the B4L Book Club will host its first ever Open Mic and Poetry reading at the Oakeside Manor. The event begins at 7 pm and is open to the public.
Performances are limited to young adults ages 13 to 25.
Acoustic music, poets and readers of poetry, mimes and monologues all welcome. Volume is a concern, please no bands. There will be a sound system and hookup for acoustic guitars & mics. Acts limited to five minutes each.
Admission $5 per person. Funds generated will be used to purchase books. Baked goods and refreshments will be available.
