WWI has just ended and Bill Sherman (Gordon MacRae) is coming home to his sweetheart, Marjorie Winfield (Doris Day.) Their on-again, off-again romance is the backdrop for other Winfield family issues, caused mainly by little brother Wesley's (Billy Gray) overactive imagination. Leon Ames & Rosemary DeCamp costar.
