With the help of Glenn Domenick, the recreation department was awarded a $230,000 CDBG grant for the refurbishment of the playground area. The project will include the demolition of the existing equipment, grading of the area, installation of new rubberized safety surfacing and as well as the installation of playground equipment with several ADA compliant components. It is a large scale project but with the help of Paul Lasek reviewing the survey and creating the layout, I am confident that it will be a project we are all proud of.
