Fall Clean-Up Day In Bloomfield Is October 22

Roll up your sleeves on October 22 for a variety of projects around Bloomfield to help beautify the town and keep the environment healthy.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Registration is open for the Fall Town-Wide Cleanup Day in Bloomfield at multiple sites around the township.

Mayor Michael Venezia, the Town Council, and the Bloomfield Beautification Committee are sponsoring the event, which is on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 8 a.m. to noon. Individuals and groups may sign up to help beautify the township and keep the natural environment healthy.

The township will provide garbage bags, gloves, garbage pickers, shovels, rakes, and t-shirts for groups who need them.

"These efforts will enhance our neighborhoods, improve the health of our natural environment, and provide an opportunity for neighbors to work together to improve our community," the township said. "We hope you will take part in this important community-building project. Together, we will ensure Bloomfield continues to thrive as a beautiful and welcoming community."

  • Charles Street (between Watsessing Ave and Cross Street)
