Food Drive In Bloomfield Continues This Week; Donations Needed
Want to help battle hunger in the Bloomfield area? Organizers are still seeking donations.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Want to help battle hunger in the Bloomfield area? A town-sponsored food drive will continue until Wednesday – and organizers are still seeking donations.
According to a news release, the food drive is taking place at Jack's Super Foodtown of Bloomfield, 296 Glenwood Avenue. It will run through Jan. 15.
Shoppers are being asked to consider making a purchase of non-perishable food items and/or personal hygiene items and donating them as they leave.

Some items being requested are:
- Canned fruit and juice
- Cereal, oatmeal and pancake mix
- Peanut butter, canned meats, canned beans and stews
- Canned vegetables, pasta, macaroni & cheese and potato mixes
- Lunch items such as canned soups or canned pasta items
- Toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant and lotion.
