Gas Main Repair In Bloomfield Closes Part Of Broad Street

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A section of Broad Street will be temporarily closed due to a gas main repair, Bloomfield police announced Thursday.

The following sections of roadway will be closed, the Bloomfield Police Department stated:

• Broad Street at Belleville Avenue
• Broad Street at State Street

PSE&G will be completing the repairs for the township, which are estimated at eight hours, authorities said Thursday morning.

Commuters should plan an alternate route, police said.
