German Shepard Bites Bloomfield Crossing Guard: Police
The guard was on duty at Broad Street and Huck Road when the dog bit her in the buttock, Bloomfield police say.

Bloomfield, NJ – A German Shepard bit an on-duty Bloomfield Township crossing guard earlier this month, police say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the guard was on post at Broad Street and Huck Road around 8:41 a.m. on June 14, when she saw the dog running towards her.
The dog then bit her in the right buttock and continued running, police said. It was later located sitting on a porch at a Broad Street home.

Emergency responders treated the crossing guard for her injury at the scene, police said.
Officers located the dog’s owner and referred the incident to the Bloomfield Health Department and Animal Control for town ordinance violations, police stated.
