Green Flourish at Foley Field

The piece de resistance was set down at Foley Field on Wednesday - the artificial sports turf the Bloomfield High School football and soccer teams will make great use of in the upcoming academic year.

Foley Field was built in 1934 as a Works Progress Administration project. The sports field is undergoing its first major renovation, which was funded by a $2.9 million bond passed last year by school district voters.
