Gun-Wielding Man Robs Bloomfield Laundromat, Flees Scene: Cops
A man entered the business, brandished a revolver and demanded that the clerk open the cash register, Bloomfield police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A man robbed a Laundromat in Bloomfield at gunpoint earlier this month, making his escape with about $425, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the armed robbery took place on Feb. 10 at Spin Central Laundromat on Belleville Avenue.
A man allegedly entered the business, brandished a black revolver and demanded that the clerk open the cash register. He took about $425 in cash and fled south through the parking lot toward Belleville Avenue, police said.

Bloomfield police officers searched the area but didn’t find the suspect.
Authorities released surveillance photos from the robbery (see below). Police described the suspect as a white male in his mid-forties, about 5 feet 9 inches with a medium build and a white beard. He was wearing a royal blue-colored zip-up hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
