BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A holiday tree lighting event will take place in Bloomfield on Monday, Nov. 29.

According to a municipal notice, the free, family-friendly event will take place starting at 6 p.m. at Town Hall, 1 Municipal Plaza. It will include cocoa, cookies, ice sculptures, caroling by the Bloomfield High School concert choir and Bloomfield Scouts, and a special Christmas appearance from Santa at 7 p.m.

There will also be a lighting of the menorah with Rabbi Katz of Temple Ner Tamid and a special Kwanzaa presentation by Ghana Imani Hylton at 6:30 p.m.
