You are needed! Join the Domestic Violence Response Team today!

Make a direct impact in your community today and join the Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT). DVRT volunteers are specially trained, civilian members of the community, who meet confidentially with victims of domestic violence at police headquarters 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Volunteers provide support, information, and referrals to victims. They also discuss the victim's legal rights in regard to obtaining a Temporary Restraining Order. All volunteers are trained to empower victims to make decisions about their own lives.
Rachel Coalition's 40 Hour Domestic Violence Response Team training will begin on October 19, 2016, in Montclair, NJ. For more information please contact your local police department or the Essex County DVRT Coordinator, Michele Frank at mfrank@jfsmetrowest.org.
